OpenOffice.org Quickstarter is a small application that runs in the KDE SystemTray.
The new version is designed to comply in great parts with it's brother on windows-systems that is delivered with OpenOffice.org.
Unlike the older version I developed in 2002, the new Quickstarter doesn't come with additional features.
I wanted to get a tool that looks as similar to the original as possible.
The new simplicity made it possible to get it
- finished within a day
- working (hopefully) bugfree
The OpenOffice.org-Team improved the quickstart-mode in the Linuxversion with the release of OpenOffice.org 1.1, so no more workarounds should be needed.
But just as in the old version, OOoQs shouldn't be started when OpenOffice.org is already running!!
